CompuSoft´s access control readers defy very low tempertures in Norway and Sweden
Right now temperture records have been measured in Norway and Sweden. Tuesday night this year´s lowest temperature was registered. At the airport in Røros south of Trondheim in Norway a temperature of minus 41 celcious degrees was measured. In the daytime it is not much warmer in this area. Here the temperature reaches around minus 20 celcious degrees according to Norwegian VG.
Sweden also faces extreme cold weather these days caused by cold winds from Russia. At Hemavans airport in Northern Sweden close to the Norwegian Border temperatures down to minus 38,8 celcious degrees were measured, and during wedensday the temperature in the Dalarna-region will reach minus 44 celcious degrees.
Some of CompuSoft´s customers in Norway measured temperaturs down to minus 30 celcious degrees. It is common knowledge that many electronic devices are not constructed to function at such low temperatures. We are glad to see that Norwegian winter camping is doing fine and that our accesscontrol readers work unaffected by these very low temperatures.
